here's the latest piece i finished, number 30. it's a solid flame mahogany body strat w/a flame mahogany neck, and an ebony fretboard w/ a dragon inlay. it's the first piece i've completed that is a collaboration w/my good friend Jerry Kaisersmyth. he's the one responsible for the fretboard and the rad gvk pickguard. the body is extra thick as i wanted to push myself on depth, so i had to dish out the back for weight. it's still a pretty heavy strat, and has humongous tone. for some reason, i was obsessed w/3's on this piece, so there are a lot of things in groups of three(3 layers throughout the carving etc.).
jerry and i will be collaborating more in the near future, so stay tuned.
hope you guys like it:)

Amazing work, but I'm curious as to why the headstock is so plain.

Please forgive my comment on the pic of the base. Upon viewing the whole guitar, it;s perfect. You do amazing work.

absolutely no apology necessary! you have every right to make criticisms:) thank you for both the kind words here and the input there. sometimes input and criticism helps me improve a piece or my art in general. sometimes, i have to let it roll off. actually a few people wanted the rest of that guitar to be crazier as far as hardware and the pickguard were concerned haha. i went with very traditional stuff (plain white knobs etc) cause i wanted to keep a strat feel and the rest of the guitar was so over the top haha
thanks again for the kind words, and the input

Seriously, you do beautiful work. Were I a musician, or even vaguely talented, I'd ask for a bid on doing a custom piece. It's fantastic that you do what you do. I think there's room for much in the custom market. Keep up the good work.

Wow, I was already stunned by the other picture, and then I saw this one. I'm in complete awe... And I'm sure this works, right? I mean, it must be hard to bring all those details while making sure that it doesn't affect the sound and the quality of the guitar. I really don't know what to say. So beautiful. The dragon was a very good touch. I like how it's peeking from those strings and it's like you're making sure that every part of the guitar is a masterpiece. Okay, I'm rambling. I'm gonna go and hug my own guitar now. :XD:
