is that real??? because its beautiful!
but, one qeustion. if its real. is the sound of the guitar not a little bit fucked up bcause you carved away haf of the body??

just wanted to know, but tis awesome :)!!!

it is real:) and no the tone is not affected by the carving. a solid body electric isnt like an accoustic where the tone is only generated by the body. a solid body colors the tone. thanks for the kind words

The question is; How does it sound? Seems like all that carving would mess with the acoustics somehow. Regardless, that's awesome looking. How long did it take you?

this piece actually has monstrous tone:) it's not like a hollow body accoustic, where the body is the tone.the bodies tone wood only colors the tone on a solid body electric. and the wood used in this particular piece is one of the densest pieces of mahogony i've ever worked with. that combined w/ good passive pickups makes for huge tone. thanks for the kind words:)
