so i just realized one of my pieces got a daily deviation. i'm on the way out the door right now, but thank you guys so much for your support and for the deviation. i have 3 new pieces on the table, so they'll be coming out soon, and i've got a few paintings as well in the works. i'll write more again as soon as possible grey

one of the greatest fantasy artists of all time has passed away. the art world has not only lost a great, it has taken a step closer to mediocrity and banality. real, focused, obsessive, physical artists are disappearing, and less and less physical artists are replacing them. computers are doing wonderful things for the world, but they are doing more damage than good to art i think. i am sad tonight. good bye sir, i will strive to learn from your work, and hope to become half the artist you were. i don't know if there's an afterlife, but if there is, i hope there's paint in it http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/news/music/la-me-frank-fraz

so um, wow!!! i didn't even know what a daily deviation was, (i'm still pretty new to this site) but i was lucky enough to get one this morning, and came home to find thousands of messages, and tons of comments. so i just wanted to say thank you so much to all of you:) i will be trying to respond to as many as i can in the next few days. thank you again everyone for all the kind words i've received. also extra special thanks to http://amaltheea.deviantart.com/, and to http://myana.deviantart.com/ for getting me on the main page. you guys are the best!
